I am a Creative Practitioner - an Artist, Illustrator, Graphic Designer & Workshop Facilitator with over 15 years experience working within the creative industry. I believe in sustainable art from old repurposed frames & recycled materials. Though I appreciate fine art - I believe in art that is inclusive & affordable for everyone. I love illustrating daft little characters, I'm a big fan of silly art that makes people laugh, whether that's a ridiculous face, funny typography or a made up product. I love art about nature, folk art, tea, childhood nostalgia, retro design, miniature things, gnomes & fairies, cows, Yorkshire, witchy stuff, magic, the moon! Plus I love colour. As long as it's as environmentally friendly as it can be, tells a story & is (hopefully) going to make you smile!
Bad art is still good art. You don't have to be good at art to enjoy it, the process is more important than the final result. I facilitate process art workshops, to improve self esteem & give you your serotonin boost. Art can have the power to calm your nervous system. Start an art journal! Collage! Doodle! Express yourself!
